Your Role

As a System Architect, Networking, at Saab, you and your team will be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle, serving as a crucial piece in our journey towards the next generation of defense systems.

In this central role within our projects, you will provide a holistic perspective, analyzing and understanding customer needs, managing requirements, and documenting technical specifications to guide the development process. Other responsibilities include technical ownership of a system and analyzing functions and performance. You will act as a key link between customers and developers, ensuring the system meets high quality standards.

You will operate across many technical areas, and your internal network within the company will be broad.

Your Profile

We expect you to hold a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a technical field, such as Technical Physics, Computer Science, or similar. Most importantly, however, is that you share our passion for development and exciting new technology!

You have extensive experience in software and/or hardware, product development, and technical leadership. Regardless of your previous experience and background, you are more than welcome to help shape the technology of the future.

Previous experience in data network development, embedded systems, FPGA, high-assurance operating systems, and good knowledge of how Saab's current Core Products are structured is desirable. A network within the business and a general understanding of the Surveillance product portfolio are also desirable.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance procedures applicable at the time. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
